Medical Training: After completing my medical training in 1983 from the University of Queensland,Anaesthetic Specialty training followed at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. I was a Senior Anaesthetic Trainee at the Royal London Hospital,London home of Joseph Merrick the famous "Elephant Man".I returned home to Brisbane to begin Public and Private Anaesthetic Practice.
Current Appointments: Clinical Senior Lecturer, University of Qld Medical Advisory Committee member, Surf Life Saving Qld
Passions: Overseas Volunteer Missions.
I am a volunteer Anaesthetist for Operation Smile and Interplast Australia anaesthetising babies/children with such defects as Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate deformities.Missions have taken me to centres in Kenya,Fiji and India. |
